Sunday School
At First Baptist Weaverville, spiritual growth through Bible Study and fellowship is critical to the Christian life. Sunday School classes that provide age-appropriate lessons and applications are offered for all ages, from infants to senior adults.
The preschool department is on the second floor of the educational building. Ranging from babies to kindergarteners, these classes provide foundational Christian lessons in a loving, safe environment. Through stories, games, playtime, and snacktime, preschool children learn that Jesus loves them!

Childrens Sunday School Classes are located on the Sunday School Hall, directly under the church sanctuary. School aged children in grades 1-6 learn about God’s love and their role in God’s kingdom, as well as God’s plan of salvation. Bible stories, crafts, and activities illustrate God and his plans for humanity.

Youth classes are located on the third floor of the educational building. The teen years can be tough, but First Baptist Weaverville has classes tailored just for young people aged 13-18! Middle and High School youth learn about God’s plan for their lives and how they can apply Bible truths. Relevant Bible study, Biblical perspectives on teen-relevant issues, missions and service opportunities, and fellowship times to hang out are used to minister to our youth. Classes are held in youth-friendly rooms decorated by our youth members.
